Jenny Woodworth divides her time between the roles of Support Group Leader on the Westside and Program Coordinator. She recently celebrated two decades of being a professional Social Worker. She started her career after graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and has been committed to working with individuals, families and communities ever since. Her career background consists of case management, program management and group and individual therapy. She’s lived in the Cleveland area since 2009 and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Cleveland State University. Jenny’s experiences in caring for people both personally and professionally are varied but she strives to bring compassion, a sense of humor and hope in all her interactions. In her spare time, she enjoys reading for pleasure, being outside in all kinds of weather and spending time with her friends and family.
Sarah Husher is excited to support Courage to Caregivers serving as Community Outreach Coordinator and Breathing Meditation Facilitator. She sees these roles as a unique opportunity to combine her professional background in both mental health and yoga in support of caregivers. In 1996 Sarah earned her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University. Then in 1999, she earned her Master degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. Sarah has over 20 years experience working in social services. She began her career working as a case manager for adults experiencing severe mental illness. She then dedicated the next decade to working as a geriatric social services worker at Cuyahoga County Division of Senior and Adult Services. In the meantime, Sarah completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2009 and has been teaching yoga and meditation classes for over a decade. She lives in Lakewood with her husband Justin and their young son Max.
